Christmas Hols has BEGUN!! yeay!!
Phew.. finally the Christmas Hols has started! And my, you guys should see the crowded scene in Newcastle City! Well normally, we get a lot of ppl walking on Northumberland Road (nt during hols..) and that's nothing unusual. But today was totally different - every nook and corner of Northumberland Road, being the main shopping street in Newcastle City, was filled with happy Holiday shoppers. Janey and I was awed at the scene! Oh wellz, it's the start of the holidays and it's normal for ppl esp those elementary school and secondary school students who have hidden and suppressed their shopping desire for so long to explode and satisfy their urge and splurge on the wonderful and beautiful stuff they have wished for a long time even before the Christmas month started.
It was indeed a different feel compared to when i was back in my hometown. Back in KK, sure we had carollers going from homes to homes to sing and play, however, the feeling here in Newcastle's more thorough. Here the Xmas mood and feeling's more vibrant and spread out. Christmas songs and tunes could be heard everywhere, in one way enhancing the Christmas atmosphere and in the other, making the shoppers feel more excited and of course, more motivated to buy more stuff. (hahhaha.. it's called Commercialism!!!) All in all, the mood here is more enjoyable and plus the cold weather makes it more Christmasy..hehehe...
Well that's it for now, i won't be able to update the blog for sometime. I will be leaving for Italy in 2 days!! HAHHAHAHAHA.. ITALY? shocked? yeap that's the place.. the place where Rennaisance had originated from, where Julius Ceasar built and ruled his empire i duno how many decades(or centuries ago?!)..where Flora Chan and Francis Ng kissed passionately in Triumph In the Skies....etc...
Will update when i come back....=)

dang that fire alarm BLOKE
as i am typing this sentence, i am also thinking of a way to actually express the tiredness within my soul~ bleh.. a stupid para opening >.< let's just start with another..
Once upon a night on 23rd Nov 2006.. opps. (it should be the early morning of 24th Nov), i was amidst getting into a deep sleep in preparation for a law seminar for the next day when suddenly the ugly red electrical thingy..what we all call the Fire Alarm , gave out it's loudest scream of the night. RIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.. enough G's to bear with? well, it couldn't be worst than having to stand outside in the freezing cold, with bearly cotton-stuffed coats, fighting the chilling wind for more than 1/2 an hour, just so that our dear firefighters could put out the so called FIRE and save us from the danger of being trapped inside the building..
well now you must be thinking that we must have been lucky enuff to have been rescued from a building engulfed in blazing and raging fire. well that would have been an interesting experience huh, but sorry to disappoint you guys, there was no fire at all. HUH?
So what brought the 3 fire engins 2 our Stephenson Building? Well.. a very very smart bloke actually triggered the fire alarm by a very simple act of wanting to make his supper. awww.. what a poor guy who ruined his supper.. yeah rite! who actually goes making instant noodles without putting water and then putting the whole thing into a microwave? dang that person.. he should have been clever enough to look at the instructions on top of the container. so a simple act of him -
1. destroyed my beauty sleep; i got to sleep at 2.30am when i should have slept at 1am
2. made me extremely sleepy the next morning (well i didn't look it cos i took B complex >.<)
3. is making me extremely exhausted NOW at 1040pm which is considered to be really EARLY for friday-ers..
Well the only good thing he did - i got to catch a glimpse of the cute Student Assistant who was there to direct the students to a safer place.. and oh also, i got to drool over a super handsome Fire Fighter.. dang he's hunkilicious! hahahaha....
Well that's all for now.. tomorrow's definitely going to be a boring day!! maybe because my dearest laysan's gone off to London? hahahhaha... (she'd be puking reading this last sentence.. =P)

Xmas Lightings & HYPE over Michael Owen
wondering what's with the title up there? yeap.. you're right! i had a date with one of the most prominent football stars in the World - Michael Owen, ermm just for 5 mins. technically it's a date.. cos i was actually at the same venue where he stood on stage, looked at us and smiled :). we breathed the same air man! the word DATE was to make ppl envious of me! HHAHAHAH... go thump your hearts ppl... i got to meet Michael Owen!!! =P
yeah yeah. that was a very lame and shallow paragraph. im already over with the hype. it wasn't anything special. just that a so called PROMINENT world cup footballer came to officiate the lightings of Newcastle, in which he merely stayed for like 5 mins? oh no.. 4, discounting the 1 min he had his back on us because of the photo taking session with the media. so we're like HUH? that's all...?
but it was something new to me, cos it was the first time i was experiencing the Xmas feel in a different country. plus it was freezing cold.. the Xmas feel was more vibrant.. well thanx to the music performances displayed during the wait for Michael Owen; we had a hippy time, dancing to the familiar Xmas songs played thru out the session. though the night was freezing cold, we had a wonderful time. i duno bout my friends.. but they seemed hyped that they got to see MO too... well maybe except for one.. u know who u are HAHAHHAA...
some pics to share..

Procrastinate and you'll be DEAD >.<
right! im actually procrastinating here.. this post is just a random babbling session. i just wanted to stay away from the incessant calling in my mind, telling me to dive back into the Company Law textbook which i am supposed to be reading as i am typing this sentence. sighz.. why why why? why is it so hard not to procrastinate? is it because i lack motivation? is it because i am just looking for an excuse to relax? i have been relaxing for almost 3 months now... should i continue dwelling on this monotonous relaxing process - eat, sleep, surfing the net and strolling around the streets of Newcastle? tell me...give me some advice ;)

It's just ME!
hei guys.. finally i'm back from all the MIA-ing! =)
well actually i dun really know what MIA actually represents.. but i just know it means NOT BEING ACTIVE.. where did i get this? ahah! from all the Foruming.. ^^
btw.. i had intended to post some of the Harry Potter Castle Trip pics.. but i kinda think i'm wasting my time. cos u guys can just click on Laysan, Liz or Wanmei's BLOGS links on the right..yeahh.. on the right, and you guys will see some of the pics. altho there might not be a lot of ME's inside..but well yeah..what else? it's someone else's blog..>.<
Seminars have started this week. I dunno if i should thank God for actually arranging my only 2 seminars in a row.. well i guess it's better than having all 4 seminars crammed in a week. Today's company and equity seminars were unexpectedly good. Good as in a sense that i got to learn something out of the discussions. (you guys should come to our lectures.. you'd see sleepyheads everywhere..>.<) And i actually answered some questions today!! Hurray! i feel proud of myself for braving all the obstacles to finally express my opinions!! YEAY!! oopss.. did i sound like i was bragging? hehe..sorry if i gave you guys that impression.. sometimes i just tend to deviat from the main topic and start crapping...hehe..mind my senseless-ness! sometimes, Miss Lo here needs attention. >.<
